Labral Tears
These usually occur with traumatic incidents and sometimes accompany shoulder joint dislocations. The labrum is a cartilaginous ring attached to the shoulder socket which helps keep the ball in the socket. Symptoms such as pain and clunking can be experienced with tears of the labrum. As well as attempting to improve the stability of the shoulder joint by methods described above, Leeds Shoulder Clinic can offer advice regarding the most appropriate form of rehabilitation.
